Updates

Just some pictures and a quick update.  Soccer still going strong for Maddison, Johnny and Joey.  We spent this weekend at the Fall Brawl Soccer tournament, Maddie's team took 2nd place in their age bracket!  Woohoo!

Johnny and Joey have been loving soccer too.  Lots of practices in the heat! 

School has also been plugging along and we have been getting into a schedule.  Ben has resumed therapy at the IDC as well.  He is getting so big and getting into everything! 

Olivia has been taking piano and will start back up with dance this week as well.  She is already learning new things in second grade!

Joey started his first year of soccer on Tuesday.   He Loved it!

Ben has been busy this summer stunning us with his new accomplishments.  He loves to sit up and be a big boy in this chair! 

Soccer

Soccer has started! Maddie had her first soccer game with KC Fusion. She is playing in the u9 girls premiere league, division 1. So after only 4 practices the girls faced off against a team who has played together for years. On the turf for the first time as well. And it rained. At least we have one under our belts now!

Games are played on the new Overland Park Soccer Complex. Here is a look at it, what a place!  She will be playing all year long for this team, including 4 tournaments.

First First First

Johnny 6th Grade

Today is the first day of school for Johnny, Maddie and Olivia.  Smooth send off for Johnny, a little sad for Mom as he is now a middle schooler!  The girls, well, not so smooth.  The bus did not come.  Nobody was late though, Mom got them dropped off.

Butterflies and Fountain Fun

Spent Sunday at Powell Gardens for Butterfly Weekend!  It was Hot!  But lots of fun.  The Dinosaurs were still there as well.
